Turquoise Coast Turkey

Mystery of the east fuses with western flair

Turquoise Coast Turkey

This is where it all started.

Turkey is well known for it’s sailing opportunities and Bodrum is for good reason one of the most popular areas to start, finish and generally enjoy during a charter yacht vacation in Turkey. This vibrant port city can be found in the southwestern corner of the beautiful Turkish peninsula of the same name and is packed with as many cosmopolitan bars, great restaurants and chic shopping areas as it is historical and cultural sights. Here you can enjoy the many delights of the meandering East Mediterranean summer season, whether you’re mingling in with the hustle and bustle on land or finding your own patch of serenity floating in the blue of the Aegean.

Marmaris is known as Turkey’s yachting capital and rests on one of the world’s largest harbours, a sweeping bay backed by majestic mountain peaks. Discover its secluded paradise islands, snorkel in the clear waters and explore mysterious phosphorus caves before heading into the jungle for and off-road trek. Between the livelier yachting spots of Bodrum and Marmaris are the strikingly unspoilt peninsulas of Gökova and Bozburun which form the border of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. Here you can explore the rural beauty of Turkey, from rugged stretches of coastlines to idyllic bays and islets, it’s the perfect place to switch off and enjoy the surroundings. This can also be a great opportunity to extend your charter itinerary into the glamorous Turkish Riviera and the gorgeous Greek islands. Go traditional on a magnificent Turkish Gulet or indulge in a sumptuous luxury superyacht. Long considered one of the best sailing spots in the Mediterranean, the Gulf of Gocek is home to four of the main Turkish marinas. The bustling port is a registered area of special protection and, as such, has remained a charming fishing village without being tarnished by tourist resorts. Turkey’s intoxicating allure and varied attractions make it as beautiful as it is vibrant, ensuring pleasure and relaxation wherever visitors find themselves roaming.
