What is APA?
APA stands for Advance Provisioning Allowance, an amount paid ahead of the charter towards running costs such as food, drinks, fuel and port fees. Any unspent balance is normally returned. The guideline for Smart Spirit is 20% of the charter fee.
Is there a damage deposit?
Your quotation confirms whether a damage deposit applies. Where one does, it is separate from the charter fee and is normally returned after the charter.
