John McCabe began his marine career in 1992 as a deckhand on dinner cruises in Alaska. After moving to Maui in 1994, he gained experience operating 5-star sunset cruises on a 100-foot schooner. Shifting to Wisconsin in 1997, John immersed himself in Great Lakes regattas and sailboat racing while running a restaurant and brewery. Since relocating to Southeast Florida in 2014, he has worked on private Miami charters and Fort Lauderdale fishing expeditions. John is now working towards his USCG Captain’s license to further his marine career.

Chenaé’s culinary journey began early, leading her to earn an Advanced Food and Wine Degree. She has worked in prestigious kitchens and catering services, transitioning to the maritime industry in 2014. Her expertise spans international cuisines, with a focus on healthy, flavorful dishes. Chenaé has catered to guests across the Mediterranean, Asia, the Maldives, Singapore, the U.S., and the Caribbean. She is also a certified health coach, ensuring her menus are both delicious and nutritious. In her free time, she enjoys horse riding, water activities, and reading, as well as exploring the world’s waters as a certified diver.

Chef

Captain Josh Turner hails from the Pacific Northwest near Seattle. His passion for the water started with salmon fishing on local rivers and has since taken him around the world. He began his career as a captain in Maui, leading Windjammer cruises featuring humpback whales and Hawaiian sunsets. His adventures continued in Alaska, captaining sport fishing boats and landing Pacific salmon, halibut, and lingcod. With experience spanning Maui, Alaska, Newport Beach, the Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas, Josh has honed his skills in cruising, sport fishing, and scuba diving. He loves introducing guests to his favorite activities, including free diving and lobstering.
