My ancestral origin is Black Sea region of Turkey, from where my love of nature and sea originates. My family and I used to spend a great deal of time on most scenic seashores of Turkey. After completing my education, I took an early start on my cooking carreer. My work discipline and perfectionism allowed me to have work experiences in five star hotels such as Cyprus Acapulco, İstanbul Movenpick and Marmaris Julien. I retired from the Turkish Naval Forces in 2006 as a naval petty officer senior sergeant. I have been working as a yacht captain for 16 years, and have been the captain of many blue voyages on private yachts and gulets. Destinations I have cruised include Norfolk and South Carolina in United States of America, Cadiz and Palma de Mallorca in Spain, English Seas, Piraeus, Lavrion, Kos, Rhodes, Symi, Leros, Kalymnos, Patmos and Lesvos in Greece.
